The college is closed December 21 through January 1 for winter break and will reopen January 2. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes.
The Public Safety Education Campus is a CALEA®-accredited Training Academy. It has a state-of-the-art forensics lab, an incident command center, simulation and defensive tactics rooms and a mock courtroom and jail. The campus offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Safety Administration. It also offers Basic Law Enforcement Training and in-service training for the following:
Law enforcement and corrections officers
Fire and rescue personnel
EMS technicians
State Bureau of Investigation agents
U.S. Department of Homeland Security personnel
The campus also offers short-term, non-degree courses for workforce licensures and certifications.
